Responsible for the technological direction of the Hospital. Partner with senior leaders to design and implement a strategic IT plan to successfully position organization for the future. Proposes budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades equipment, supervises computer specialists and IT workers, and presides over IT-related projects.
Education : Undergraduate degree in Business, Healthcare or Information Systems required.
Experience: At least 10 years of progressive IT management experience.

3. Develop and implement a customer service platform to serve the organization in every aspect.
4. Consult with administration, department managers, and vendors to exchange information, present new approaches, and to discuss equipment/system changes.
5. Participate in vendor contract negotiations for all new computer equipment and software purchased for the corporation.
6. Manages the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology department including directing staff, who support administrative computing, networking, user services, telecommunications and other information technology functions.
7. Assess and anticipate technology projects and recommend appropriate action and resources.
8. Establish and direct the strategic and tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the Information Technology department.
9. Propose hardware/software solutions to accomplish the company's business objectives.
10. Facilitates meetings and brings working groups to consensus.
11. Collaborate with clinical and office staff in the development and management of IT project plans and tasks for system enhancements, upgrades and new systems
12. Develop and update policies and procedures pertaining to systems maintained and supported by IT.
13. Maintains a detailed understanding and working knowledge of the applications, its functions and its relationship to other information systems within the enterprise.
14. Acts as the Hospital's HIPAA Security Officer
